Gel Print, Let Go, Unfold.

learn 15 gel printing techniques and transform your prints into a jaw-dropping 3D pop-up journal!

Unfolded - A Wabi Sabi Gel Printing Class

So, you bought a gel plate.

Maybe it's still in its packaging ... quietly gathering dust.

You bought it with good intentions. And every time you see a video online, there's that familiar pang. I really should use it.

You don't need more motivation.

You just need someone beside you, talking you through every layer until the joy comes back.

That's Unfolded.

What Students Have to Say ...

@met_lisette Netherlands

"It takes you out of your comfort zone. Doing things that you normally will not make will have benefits for the future."

@lifeasanarthouse

"Thank you so much for this challenge that got my creative juices flowing again."

@penguinpapers Yvonne Bashor

"Yours is a good reminder to keep going! Sometimes we want to stop too soon when all we need is one (or 5!) more layer(s)."

Unfolded - A Wabi Sabi Experience

Take the next step with guided prompts - 15 easy to follow tutorial gel printing videos in real time, showing the thought process, extra tips and troubleshooting advice.

This is for you if…

  • If you enjoy working with prompts and want to learn new techniques

  • You like guidance, not rigid rules

  • You want to finish something, not just collect prints

  • You learn best by watching someone think out loud

  • You don’t want another intense course: just calm, supportive structure

If that’s you, you’re in the right place.

What the Classroom Is (and Isn’t)

This is:

  • Gentle guidance

  • Clear demonstrations

  • Real-time decision-making

  • A way to bring everything together

This is not:

  • A high-pressure challenge

  • A “keep up or fall behind” situation

  • A perfection project

  • A content dump

Think of it as a quiet studio corner with me talking about my thought process.

Inside the Classroom, You’ll Find:

✦ Extended Prompt Videos (with Voiceover)

Longer versions of my Instagram videos, where I talk you through:

  • Why I chose certain colours

  • When I stop (and why)

  • What to do when a print feels “off”

  • How to keep things loose and imperfect

  • Correcting mistakes

No rushing. No cutting out the messy bits.

✦ Replays of Live Q&A Session

So you can:

  • Listen back in your own time

  • Learn from questions you didn’t know to ask

  • Feel reassured that you’re not the only one getting stuck

These are saved inside the classroom.

✦ A Full Tutorial:

No fancy tools. No complicated measurements. A beautiful journal that you can proudly display.

... and this!

Hi, I'm Tania, a serial gel printer, mixed media artist and art journaler based in the UK, originally from Pakistan.

I've been making gel prints for over twelve years and I still get seal-clapping happy when a print pulls just right. I teach because I know what it feels like to stare at a gel plate and not know where to start and I want to save you the years of muddy, disappointing prints I made before I figured it out.

My teaching style is warm, real, a little bit chatty and sprinkled with some gentle encouraging love. I'll talk you through the why behind every decision, celebrate the happy accidents, and remind you that practice makes progress ... not perfection!

I'm also a proud Gelli Arts Brand Ambassador, a six-time Wanderlust faculty member, and proud mama to a very spirited small person called Alina, drinker of black tea, lover of all things shiny, and an aspirational crazy cat lady.

My mantra and wish is that you take the time to do something that gives you joy everyday.
